Overview
We actively seek opportunities to take an equity position in some of the projects we advise on, preferring an active investment approach to maintain long-term involvement through both ownership and governance positions.
Structure
Given our structure, we can take a flexible approach in relation to how we participate in projects. Whilst deal specific, structure could include a Shareholder Sell-Down, Management Buy-Out or Recapitalisation.
Ideal Size
Varying from company to company, we ideally look for businesses with an EV between $10m-$50m.
We originate and manage private company buy-outs in the mid-market space, providing compelling investment opportunities for family offices, HNW individuals and a range of other wholesale investors.
Our Private Equity services are focused on the mid-market, with company Enterprise Values’ typically in the range of NZ$10m – NZ$50m. Through our Corporate Finance and Investment Banking services, we have built an extensive network of investors interested in exposure to high growth companies. We favour taking an active investment position, working closely with our investing partners to understand the revenue model and growth potential of the business, structuring a plan to achieve its growth goals.
